Kritika Kamra feels her journey- both professionally and personally and been one defined by growth and countless learnings. As for the coming year, I am ready for whatever is in store for me,” she says.

What's changed over time, kara says is that she has started enjoying her own company. "I have JOMO now (Joy Of Missing Out) I‘m very happy spending time with myself and with my close ones who really matter. I’ll take quality time and a good meal over a big event or the best party in town anyday," she tells us.

Another good change she points out is how health has become her priority. "I try my best to not miss a workout. I follow a time restricted pattern of eating and sleep eight hours, although still very late at night. That’s something I’m still working on," she shares.

Speaking of change, Kamra's personal life has gone from once being the talk of the town to being a mystry today. And the actor says it has been a conscious move. "Yes, it’s a deliberate choice to maintain privacy. I understand that I’m a public figure and hence, my work and life will be scrutinised. So I choose to only share what I welcome feedback on. I don’t think my love life needs that kind of attention," shares the actor.

And despite being a public figure, it has not been a challenge to keep it under wraps. "I don’t find it difficult. It’s a choice to have clear boundaries and it only makes life easy for me," she says, adding, "It’s nice to keep some things to oneself and when the time is right the world can know and share their feelings and opinions about it with me. Good.. bad.. whatever they are, I’ll be okay. For now, I’m happy to hear about my work and life on social media. I read comments and all reviews because what I do as an actor is for people to consume and comment on. We are only because of our audience."

And lately, all she has been getting is positive feedback for her phenonemal performance in the web series Bambai Meri Jaan. “I’m very happy and grateful for the love and encouragement I’ve got for Bambai Meri Jaan. This show means a lot to me, I’m glad those who watched it have liked it and are eagerly waiting for the next season. I have a lot to offer as an actor and a lot to learn as well and I’m always on the lookout for bigger, better opportunities. Getting work, choosing the right kind of work is a big part of this profession and sometimes takes more than it does to act. It’s challenging but that only makes the journey better and rewards sweeter,” she ends.
