It all started to make sense when Bumrah was brought back into the attack as soon as Joe Root came to the crease. The ball had just started to reverse and Bumrah knew, he had to make it count. And so he did with a masterful outswinger to send the former England captain back in the hut for the eighth time in his career. After Kuldeep Yadav got a couple of wickets in between, Ben Stokes was entering fifth gear; the England captain is at best when he is in that kind of a mood. But enter Bumrah again.
