🎖️ We’re proud to announce that the U.S. Green Building Council recently awarded the Town of Lexington’s Hastings Elementary School with the LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Gold Certification. Led by DiNisco Design, Inc., DGT Associates was appointed as the civil engineers and wetland specialists for the project and responsible for the site’s environmental assessment and permitting. Our engineers developed the construction period pollution prevention plan and civil site design. The plan and design consisted of a state-of-the-art stormwater management system incorporating limited impact design and green infrastructure techniques to treat and control site stormwater runoff, including three bio-retention basins, underground stormwater recharge systems, and establishing porous pavement in the main parking facility. 👏 Congratulations to the Town of Lexington and the project team on this achievement. #sustainability #climatechange #civilengineering #engineering

#Exciting morning in #lexingtonma, as we celebrated the 310,000 lab/ #lifesciences, project at 440 Bedford Street #toppingoff ceremony. Congratulations Trammell Crow Company for the first lab project in the Massachusetts sub-region. This six-story facility has been repositioned from an Inn/restaurant for a research and development site and the third location for Craft Food Halls in #lexingtonma. Elisha Long Sam Schaefer Gardy Desrouleaux we look forward to this great project paving the path for more projects on Hartwell-Bedford street corridor.

We are thrilled to welcome Sandhya Iyer as the newest Greater Merrimack Valley CVB Board Member. Sandhya is the Economic Development Director for the Town of Lexington. She has a Master’s degree in Corporate and Organizational Communications and Project Management from Northeastern University and has experience in Public Relations, Marketing, Films, and Radio production. Before joining the Town, she worked with the Massachusetts Life Sciences Center, as part of the economic development funding arm of the Commonwealth that helps attract and retain life sciences companies. Sandhya leads the Tourism operations for the Town which attracts more than 100,000 visitors each year. She has been successfully marketing Lexington as a tourist and business-friendly destination.
