  • Cleansing - Devotees should wake up early in the morning and take a bath. After cleansing, they must wear yellow clothes.

  • Set up Altar - Devotees are advised to take a wooden plank and place an idol of Goddess Saraswati and Lord Ganesha.
  • Perform Puja - Light a diya with desi ghee, put a haldi tilak on the forehead of the Goddess and offer yellow colour garland to the Goddess. Offer sweets and bhog prasad.
  • Mantra Chanting - People must chant various mantras dedicated to Goddess Saraswati to please the Goddess.
  • Other rituals - People must keep their ledger, books and if you have any music instrument then you should present it to the Goddess for the blessings
  • Recite Saraswati Vandana - Devotees must recite Saraswati Vandana to invoke the blessings of the Goddess.
  • Perform Aarti - On must perform aarti after completing all the puja rituals.
  • Distribute prasad - Distribute prasad among family members and friends.
  • Breaking fast - Devotees who observe fast on this auspicious day, they can break it in the evening after offering prayers to the Goddess.
