Chaturthi Tithi falls twice a month during Shukla Paksha and Krishna Paksha. One is Vinayaka Chaturthi and another is Sankasthi Chaturthi. Sankasthi Chaturthi means the fourth day of Krishna Paksha and the day when devotees can get rid of all sufferings.

1. You must wake up early in the morning.
2. Take bath before starting any puja ritual.
3. Clean your home and especially puja room.
4. Place an idol of Lord Ganesha and light a diya with desi ghee in front of the idol.
5. Offer flowers and boondi laddoo and durva grass.
6. Recite Bindayak story and chant Ganesha Aarti.
7. Chant Mantras dedicated to Ganesh Ji.
8. In evening you must offer Arghya to Moon God.
