Phenomenal headphones...seems too good to be true at this price. Even if they where £300 they would still be worth it! I've been listening to high end headphones for almost a decade now and i've owned headphones from £600. I've a good idea of the best kind of headphones and i'd be happy if i'd payed £300 for these...take my word for it! You get cheap headphones that look the part but when you open the packaging and try them on they fall apart. Well thats not the case here, beautiful leather ( or pleather ) earpads and a chrome frame. All constucted with professionalism and care.Whats more?...angled drivers....yes, the drivers on these are angled so as to be facing and making full use of your outer ear. A little like those Ultrasone headphones. And look at the big deal Ultrasone make about their " Surround Phone " headphones! and look at the price of those... Yet JVC dont even mention when they impliment it to there headphones..The result is a lifelike, 3d sound. They are very powerful and bass heavy, emphasizing on the bass, But the highs are good too, not that annoying brash/piercing sound that hurt your ears ( like Ultrasone headphones ). Think of a singer singing through a top grade, smooth sounding mike, with no chance of annoying feedback happening, coupled with the worlds best subwoofer...These headphones are a fantastic alternative to actually being at a concert. They are not analytical...but they are an absolute gem!Finally ,- there is a button housed on the chrome ( right side ) that enables you to control your smartphone/tablet device. It is universal but under the right earpad there is an a/b switch that you can use, to enable it to work for several different software devices..It all works seamlessly..

I'll be honest, for the price I wasn't expecting too much. Instead I've been impressed the first time I used this headphones, even the louds are incredibly good. I was hoping it was a bit more foldable, but it's fine, it folds flat. I really don't like the in-ear ones so this is a perfect cheap alternative.

Well, theres not much more i can say, these headphones are brilliant, the sound quality is superior to popular competitors like apple's iphone headphones, the bass in these headphones are also amazing, however after about 70% volume you do start to notice a degrade in sound quality; im quite sure this will not be a problem to many people though as just like many other people i enjoy listening to music at very loud volumes and these headphones do satisfy your needs as they are generally quite loud after about 50% volume. My only real problem is that these headphones come with just one pair of small medium and large buds (medium being on default) and i feel they should have maybe included 1 more set of each sized bud as after a few weeks of very(as in hours per day almost all day) regular use the buds do become slightly loose which does affect the bass very slightly, however it's not enough to ruin your experience and if it did become that loose you could easily acquire a new pair of buds off the internet. Also, if you are looking for pure music quality and do not really NEED the mic, i would recommend you purchase the standard xtreme xplosives as the sound quality is better than on this model due to larger drivers and the wire is also of a better quality, and ofcourse because they're cheaper! The standard model also come with a carrying case which could come in handy for some people however this model does not. Overall i give this product a 4.5/5, as it is an excellent pair of headphones but i think maybe they should have improved the quality of the wire, added a carrying case and possibly included an extra set of ear buds.

I find these headphones to be light, convenient and comfortable. The sound is astonishing for the price - around £10-£15 generally. Obviously not comparable with headphones costing hundreds, but great for chucking in a bag so you know you'll always have decent sound without worrying about charging etc. Won't appeal to bassheads, but I like a neutral unenhanced balance.

I have never really liked wearing headphones. Uncomfortable, hot, cut off totally from surroundings is not my thing. However, sometimes needs must either for private listening, mixing my own recordings or out walking.
The price and appearance made me suspicious initially but I love them. These headphones are the best I have tried for my purposes. Sound quality is really very good, very neutral they don't appear to "colour" the sound at all, and detail is great. They sit nicely on the ear and are so lightweight I forget they are there. I find them light enough to listen in bed too. I've had phones that were ten times the price of these but they didn't suit like these .
Cheap enough to give a try without breaking the bank. You might be as pleasantly surprised as I was.

I've had about ten pairs of these over the years, simply as the sound quality is so excellent. I should say, more recently I've opened two packs that are faulty i.e. one 'ear' is bust or crackles. Sadly, I am now OUT on JVC due to this weakness in production and frailty of the wires.

These are great headphones in so many ways. Super lightweight, comfortable, and good sound considering their weight and price point. However, like some other reviewers have already shown, there's a design flaw that results in the earpieces separating from the headband and there's no way to fix them unless you just use tape. It's a real shame because they'd be the only work headphones I'd buy otherwise. I have to sit for long periods so lightweight is essential.

Come on JVC, sort out this one problem in a revised upgrade!

I'm quite a fan of JVC headphone's as I've owned many pair's. Before buying these I owned a pair of JVC HAFX1X's which I bought back in May 2011. After using them for a good 7/8 hour's each day they finally died on me. I decided to try out these headphone's to see if they were any good.

These headphone's are great, great sound, great price, a nice remote feature with a mic which works with my Android phone; however there's one slight issue. The build quality has nothing on the pair of JVC HAFX1X's I owned previously.

Both headphone's are similar in price and quite cheap compared to other's on the market and they both have good features and great sound, but it's up to you which pair is best.

If you're looking for a pair of headphone's with great sound, a great price and a remote + mic feature, these are perfect for you.

However, If you're looking for a pair of headphone's with great sound, a great price alongside brilliant built quality, go for these  JVC HAFX1X Xtreme Xplosives In Ear Canal Headphones !

J'utilise ce casque sur ma PS4 via la manette, en remplacement de mon Sony ZX 100B qui commençait à s'user.
Déjà le design du casque est très sympa surtout avec le mélange blanc-noir.
Ensuite c'est un casque très léger.
Les oreillettes sont confortables bien qu'un peu difficiles à bien caler sur les oreilles.
L'arceau a l'air suffisamment solide et les crans de réglage sont bien marqués et tiennent bien.
Le son est vraiment très bon pour le prix : bien équilibré et dynamique, pas d'excès au niveau des graves. Le Sony à titre de comparaison avait des graves un peu plus présents ce qui a tendance à noyer certaines fréquences.

Seul problème, j'ai remarqué que l'oreillette droite faisait un bruit en bougeant la tête. De plus en parlant avec le casque celle-ci se mettait à émettre un son de vibration. En retirant le coussinet j'ai pu voir qu'il y a un pièce circulaire mal fixée. En la tournant dans un sens j'ai pu la bloquer.
Il est possible de la tourner sans retirer le coussinet mais au risque d'abîmer le tissu. En effet cette pièce est percée de trous aux extrémités (pour faire passer le son je suppose) que l'on peut sentir à travers le tissu. En appuyant sur ces trous à travers le tissu, il est possible de la tourner pour la bloquer et l'empêcher de bouger.

En conclusion c'est un très bon casque pour le prix. En comparaison avec mon Sony, je dirais que le JVC a un légèrement meilleur son et s'use moins rapidement mais que le Sony tient mieux sur les oreilles.
