JMM justifies Jharkhand govt’s decision to impose Covid lockdown till July 31

As a measure to control the number of Covid-19 cases in Jharkhand, the state government on Friday announced that the lockdown would be extended till July 31.

Jharkhand extends lockdown till July 31 due to rising Covid-19 cases

While Jharkhand has allowed a host of activities outside the containment zones, some curbs continue including inter and intra-state movement of buses, opening of religious places, salons, multiplexes, malls, swimming pools, gyms, besides all educational institutions.

42 new Covid-19 cases in Jharkhand, tally goes up to 2,140

Sixty-three people recovered from Covid-19 in the state on Monday and were discharged from hospitals, taking the total number of recoveries in the state to 1,469, it said.
