With our KitPlus office in Newbury, and our new auction warehouse in the town, then we are always proud to support local charities and in particular Newbury Soup Kitchen where a team of volunteers, including our own Simon Tillyer, will be attempting the #threepeakschallenge this weekend, climbing Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon, the three highest mountains in the UK... all in under 24 hours to raise money for those less fortunate in the local community. There is a dedicated website with more info www.soupmountain.com (with a donate link if you are able to support them in any way). Good luck Team NSK!

Massive congratulations to the Newbury Soup Kitchen team with a reported £15k raised for this amazing charity in our local community. Rest those legs now guys!!
Three Peaks Challenge ✅ What an achievement for our volunteer climbers, 3 peaks, 24 hours and some achy legs but a very successful weekend with all money raised going towards supporting Newbury Soup Kitchen and our local community. Climbing these peaks symbolises the climb those in need and vulnerable across Newbury and West Berkshire face on a daily basis. The money raised will go towards supporting these individuals with food provisions and outreach. Without support from our incredible sponsors and individual donations, plus the work all our volunteers do for us we couldn’t do what we do. It means the world and we thank all of you. Earlier this year we made listing your unwanted or surplus kit on KitPlus free of charge and we've just tipped over 1600 active items for sale ranging from lengths of cable to full OB Trucks. You can add 5 items for sale and every 90 days your allocation of 5 adverts renews so you can either renew (if they didn't sell) or add more, for free (no commission, no catches). https://kitplus.com/sell There are opportunities to pay us some money of course with enhancements and extra options but the essence of this initiative was to put more surplus kit in the hands of new owners who may be starting their journey in the industry or on a budget limiting them from buying brand new right now. If you've got a store room full of unwanted gear or your office door is kept open by a 3u crate from another era then take a look at KitPlus, if won't cost you a penny. If you really want to shift lots of gear fast then maybe our regular KitPlus Auctions option is for you which now offers a brilliant one stop solution.
