Director Sailesh Kolanu hints at 'Saindhav's sequel ahead of the film's release

Actor Venkatesh Daggubati is awaiting the release of his film 'Saindhav', which is set to release in theatres on January 13, 2024. Directed by Sailesh Kolanu, the film is an action thriller, and the cast includes Venkatesh, Shraddha Srinath, Andrea Jeremiah, Arya, Nawazzudin Siddique, and Ruhani Sharma.
Ahead of the release, director Sailesh Kolanu revealed in an interview with 123 Telugu that there is a possibility of working on a sequel to 'Saindhav'.
He said that there is an interest in taking forward the story of the film, and apart from him, actor Venkatesh Dagguabati is also interested in working on the sequel to the movie. He also said that the sequel to the film will be conceptualised only when there is a demand from the audience.
The director also said that 70% of the film's story happens at night and revealed that the film has several dark shots. The movie is said to have an interesting narrative that will keep the audience glued to the screen till the end of the film.
Earlier, Saindhav was to release on the same day as Ravi Teja's Eagle, but now that the latter has opted to drop off the race and release on February 9, Saindhav gets a separate release on January 13, but will still have to fight the box office with Hanu Man, Guntur Kaaram, and Naa Saami Ranga, which are releasing simultaneously with a one-day difference.
