Ram Pothineni & Kishore Tirumala's next is 'RED'

After the success of ‘iSmart Shankar’ and ‘Chitralahari’, Ram Pothineni and Kishore Tirumala have teamed up for their next, titled ‘RED’.
Sharing the news on his social media, Ram wrote, “!! #RED !! This one is going to be...So-Bloody-Different! #REDTheFilm #RAPO18 #RAPO18FIRSTLOOK.” (sic) The film re-unites Ram with Kishore after ‘Nenu Sailaja’ and ‘Vunnadhi Okate Zindagi’. There’s also buzz that ‘RED’ is the Telugu remake of Tamil crime-thriller ‘Thadam’.
‘RED’ is also set to star Nivetha Pethuraj and Malavika Sharma, according to reports. Shooting will commence from November 16, with music for the film being composed by Mani Sharma. The first look of ‘RED’ hints at the film being a far cry from the comedy dramas Kishore Tirumala usually directs. Further details are awaited.
