At Techbite 5.0, I was pleasantly surprised by the overwhelming attention our Long Range Image and Video Generative AI stack received. This impressive technology is a key component of the duPhonics metaverse. It leverages our in-house LLMs, trained on 30,000 hours of class data from the pandemic era, alongside customized Stable Diffusion to generate content for literacy and reading in real-time, seamlessly integrating into our curriculum materials within the metaverse. The highlight of our demonstration was the first image we showcased—a scene that everyone instantly recognized from "Interstellar." This illustrated two crucial points: firstly, our LLM accurately generated the story from a single prompt; and secondly, the consistency of characters was superior to generic models like DALL-E 3 and MidJourney, which often require tedious prompts to achieve coherent imagery. Furthermore, we demonstrated the capability to produce diverse styles, from anime to 3D characters, in under a minute. What we didn't disclose was that our model is also capable of generating realistic storyboards suitable for real-world movie and photography work, as evidenced by our final picture. I firmly believe in the power of "content of one" for a hyper-personalized learning experience. This technology is the engine behind our vision to create real-time, immersive content for the Oasis of Education, much like the world depicted in "Ready Player One." This past June marked the first time since I began my fitness journey in late 2022 that I missed about 20 days at the gym. This was due to a trip to Korea, a mid-year operation, and Techbite 5.0. Simply put, I lost 1 kg of muscle mass that took me three months of intense training to gain. At 46, building and maintaining muscle mass is challenging. As an older startup founder, I want to share some insights: a healthy body leads to a healthy mind, and that’s something money can’t buy—you have to earn it. Just like quality time with your loved ones, you have to make it happen. Material wealth can bring convenience, but it won’t replace those precious moments. Lastly, consistency is key. No one can take away the compound interest of your skills. Always pay attention to your side hustles because they are your true MOAT. Quick highlights from Techbite 5.0: duPhonics showcased an innovative metaverse booth that drew significant interest and excitement. I also delivered a two-minute stage pitch without any slides, which turned out to be a unique and engaging experience. Much gratitude to KX for the opportunity to participate in this incubation program and take our metaverse Gen AI product from Bangkok to Korea. One key question I encountered from a diverse audience—investors, professionals, and even those older than Gen Z in Thailand—was, "Why teach Gen Alpha in the Metaverse?" My response was straightforward: “Well, you could have learned STEM and literacy from a book, but you choose to be on Zoom because it’s convenient. So Gen Alpha chooses to be on Roblox rather than Zoom because the immersiveness is what they grew up with during the pandemic.” The metaverse didn’t take off as people expected because the lack of content, well Gen AI just change the game and duPhonics is ahead of the curve. Late night Turing test and I think Moshi was angry with me at 4:35 minute mark LOL. NLP AI is getting good but far from passing the Turing test. The best prompt engineering to test intelligence is to have the NLP define the emotional qualities and zero-shot back repeatedly, for humans it's second nature like talking to a child about love and they giggle but to machines, it usually just throws them into a haywire like so. I'm a firm believer of Artificial Intelligence to be our trusted agents of productivity but this video has already shown the last thing you want to do is trust your livelihood to LLMs regardless of modality. Today was the Investment and Demo Day at Techbite 5.0, and I had the privilege of pitching duPhonics on stage for five minutes. However, the day turned out to be far from ordinary when the stage screen went black for two minutes, causing momentary panic in the audience. Although I could have paused and waited, I decided to seize the moment and continue, given that there were 13 startups and I was fourth in line. What could have been a distressing situation for any founder became an opportunity for me to connect with the audience. I utilized that time to tell a story of the business opportunities we offer to the promising future of Generation Alpha. Why did I go off script? It’s my belief that we, as adults, have become complacent with the ideas surrounding declining population growth rates and the rise of an aging society. We, as the caregivers of Generation Alpha, have overlooked the fact that this generation is the most diverse, tech-savvy, and poised to be the future leaders of our uncertain world. My goal was to deliver our story in a way that resonated with investors, translating our vision into dollars and sense. I would like to personally thank Matas Danielevicius for helping me focus on the storytelling aspect of duPhonics and the Techbite team for their tremendous support throughout the accelerator program. As I began work for Geno Paws on training LLMs to identify genetic disorders for veterinarians I realized that one of the most outstanding LLMs out there for genetic discovery is Med-Palm 2 from Google which needless today is pricey and out of reach for most SMEs since you would need Google Cloud representative and verification of business identity, in other words this is out of reach for most professionals who needed it most which are doctors and veterinarians. Then it occurred to me that by using RAG, vector database, and real-time search integration I was able to develop an MVP on Quest Edtech BI-RAG agent using LLMs Gemini Pro 1.5 trained on Human Genetics Textbook via Vector Database and quality checked with real-time, I was able to get the chatbot answered correctly just like the research paper from Stanford using Med-Plam 2 at https://lnkd.in/gJmPkvSn using the same set of questions on that the paper listed. Simply put, I just save a bunch of time and money for my client and all we need to do now is access to public university research on pet genetics collecting mothball for decades on end. Thank you e27 (Optimatic) for allowing me to share my thoughts about why I build duPhonics Telenanny to solve one of the biggest challenges for Generation Alpha coming out from the post-covid era which is the astounding drop in literacy comprehension and English proficiency globally. Fact: 1/3 of American primary school students failed to read at the standardized level since the 1990s and this is getting progressively worse. Fact: English proficiency at the primary level in Asia has been on a decline by more than 50%.
