Finally, after three years of incredibly hard work by our fantastic R&D team led by Jostein Malmo, we have demonstrated successful secretion in E. coli of many valuable human therapeutic proteins, including GLP-1, both chains of insulin, glucagon, calcitonin, parathyroid hormone, leptin, and met-enkephalin. Perseverance is a virtue. Future methods to producing human therapeutics is getting closer. E. coli perfusion fermentation next. Let's see how low on $/g we can go.

Our Seaweeds Responsible Sourcing Program (SRSP) helps seaweed farmers and ensures we continuously improve our social and environmental standards.   This year, we also echoed our commitment through share our partnership with the environmental NGO Bellona Europa.
